How effective is the combination of your main product and ancillary texts?

Lady Gaga tends to have her face on the cover of her albums in a closeup shot to emphasis that its her album. Lady gaga's album is called 'The fame' this is effective because this is the album that put her in the spotlight and what made her Lady Gaga. This album cover is mostly based on the title and Lady Gaga's name in general as this album gave Lady Gaga her name as it boosted her into the charts etc.
Lady Gaga's eyes are covered and eyes are normally shown to draw the audience into the album but the shades cover her eyes so the audiences eyes will wander elsewhere e.g. to the title of the album and the artists name. The Album cover looks very glamourous as the shades normally emphasis the rich and famous hence the title 'The Fame'.

This next album cover shows Lady Gaga wearing a very glamourous and extravagant head piece this really shows Lady Gaga's style as she is always outrageous yet glamorous. The pearls and Lace reinforce the glamour. The second album cover is the remixes to the original songs and the picture is like a remake of the original since her eye is still covered but her image has completely changed since she has red curly hair oppose to the straight blonde hair she had in the first album cover. Despite these differences the second album cover still emphasizes the text on the album cover to ensure the audience knows that this album is a remix album and not the original.

We also looked at Lady Gaga as we wated to ensure out music video had a gaga 'feel'
We got the idea of people dressed in dramatic makeup and weird outfits doing poses which we will include throughout our video to encorporate the Fashion side into our video. From highstreet fashion (filming in changing rooms etc) to highend fashion (poses etc).
